What to do in Miami Beach

Welcome to Miami Beach! We put together this guide with the spots we most recommend to our guests after 20+ years hosting families at The Pavilion (5601 Collins Ave). From oceanfront walks one minute from your door to nearby day trips, you'll find everything you need to make the most of your stay.

Mid-Beach (your beach)

The beach right in front of the building is a quiet stretch of white sand and crystal-clear Atlantic water — ideal for families. Far less crowded than South Beach: you can swim, sunbathe or walk along the shore without crowds and head back to your apartment in minutes.

TIP: Bring your umbrella. Midday sun is intense: SPF 50 and water on hand.

Miami Beach Boardwalk

This wooden walkway runs along the coast from 1st to 96th Street. Perfect for sunrise walks, jogging, biking or rollerblading with ocean views. Passes by iconic hotels like the Fontainebleau and connects directly to South Beach.
